Please see membership options below. NCSLMA memberships belong to individuals and not schools or districts regardless of who pays for the membership.

Unfortunately, due to our small volunteer staff, we are unable to accept POs. Individuals whose schools or districts will pay for their membership, may sign up for membership and take the invoice option for payment. The invoice may then be forwarded to whoever will cut the check.

Please know that we will post any checks as soon as we get them. If you think we have made a mistake, please send a digital copy of the cleared check to info@ncslma.org, and we will credit your account immediately.

Regular - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Regular Membership is open to any person currently working in education or a related education field. The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.

Membership fees are non-refundable.

Student - $35.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Students actively pursuing a Master’s degree in Library Science or Library & Information Science and enrolled in an accredited program will be allowed to join as a student member for two years. Students in pursuit of certification and not the full degree do not qualify for this membership. The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.

Membership fees are non-refundable.

Lifetime - $500.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited Lifetime -- REGULAR
Membership is open to anyone in education.
Lifetime -- REGULAR -- Membership shall be open to any person in education. This membership is conferred on those who
-have received the Frances Bradburn Distinguished Service Award,
-OR have served as President of NCSLMA.
Members in this category will pay a one-time fee. Membership fees are non-refundable.

RETIRED Lifetime - $110.00 (USD) Subscription period: Unlimited Lifetime -- RETIRED -- Membership shall be open to any person who is RETIRED from education.
Members in this category will pay a one-time fee.
You will need to verify your retirement.
Membership fees are non-refundable.

Paraprofessional - $25.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Paraprofessional Membership is open to any person currently working as a classified employee in a school library setting. This membership level is not available to participate in competitions. The membership year runs from January 1 to December 31.
