NCSLMA Regions

Lori Munroe

I currently work as the librarian at Wake Forest  Middle School in Wake  County where I have been for the past twelve years. Like most, I have many roles.  I am the Battle of the Books coach, the tech contact, the MTAC chair, and SIT member.  The best part of my job is helping students find the book of their dreams! I have also worked in a high school library.  Before coming to Wake County, I worked in Hinesville, Georgia as a high school English teacher.   I earned my MLS at ECU in 2011, and I have been a National Board Certified Teacher since 2012.  I was a part of the 2020-21 leadership cohort.

  • to coordinate regional activities that promote professional development, membership growth, and opportunities for professional networking.
