The North Carolina Technology in Education Society is now  accepting concurrent session proposals for their 2012 Conference.  Both NCTIES members and non-members and students of all levels are invited to submit a proposal.  This is a chance for NCSLMA members to showcase their technology skills AND model the integration of technology and information skills within content area instruction (a new and important component of both the Common Core and NC Essential Standards).  "Engaging Generation Now!" is what we do best! NCSLMA is strongly encouraging its members to both participate in and attend this important opportunity to learn and lead!  Remember, every time you share what you do with others, you are advocating for libraries, librarians and, most importantly, for our students!  Go for it!
