Welcome to NCSLMA!

The mission of the North Carolina School Library Media Association is to serve the professional needs and concerns of the school library media community in our state.  Our goal is to provide school library media personnel with support, opportunities for growth, and professional connections; to provide information on state and national trends and issues, and to serve as an advocate for school library media programs.  The NCSLMA is committed to providing opportunities to our members for leadership and involvement in the school library media community.

School Librarians, we need your help!

We are a team of researchers working on a grant to develop a health literacy curriculum that is tailored to adolescents, flexible to be used in multiple school settings, evidence-based, and meets NC curriculum standards. To make this the best product for you, your students, and your school, we need your input. Below is a link to a survey asking you about your experience with information and health literacy in your schools. All perspectives are needed, regardless of experience level. Again, we expect this survey to take less than five minutes to complete.

Thanks in advance for your participation, we appreciate it!
