Let's Keep in Touch!

NCSLMA utilizes a variety of communication tools to help it's members stay informed about the organization and keep in touch with colleagues.

You can subscribe to the Google Groups listserv, post a comment on our blog - Hanging out in the Library, like us on Facebook, follow us on Twitter, and more!

NOTE: Some school system email accounts block listservs or consider the messages to be spam. If you have problems subscribing you might want to try a home email account.

How to join a Google Group:

Create a Google account by clicking on the "Sign in" link in the top right corner of Google's website. If you already have a Google account, there's no need to create a new one. Simply login to your existing account.
Now that you have an active Google account, click on the "Subscribe" link (on the lefthand side of this page) that is associated with the Google group that you wish to join.
Next, click on "Apply for membership" and then choose your prefered method of reading information posted to the Google group as well as the nickname that you would like other group members to see.
Finally, click on the "Apply to this group" button. Once your membership has been approved, you will be able to share information with other NCSLMA members by posting it directly on the Google group's page and/or sending an email to the corresponding Google group's address.

Newsletter Archive

NCSLMA's newsletter, Media Connections, will no longer be mailed in print form. Previous editions have been archived here, however we have recently begun publishing our current newsletter articles directly to our blog so that we can provide you with more timely information. We encourage share your ideas and opinions by posting comments on these blog entries. If you are interested in contributing an article to our blog, please contact NCSLMA's Communications Section Chair at jessica.moore@nhcs.net.
